Assembly Operative

Lighting Assembler Monday to Thursday | 7:30am – 5:15pm 37-hour working week

We’re looking for a hands‑on Lighting Assembler to join a busy manufacturing team, assembling and wiring high-quality lighting products.

Pay & Benefits

£13.95 per hour, increasing to £14.86 per hour after 12 weeks. Overtime available on Fridays at an enhanced rate. Monday to Thursday working pattern.

Please note: The working pattern may change to a 5-day week to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble lighting products and components.
• Wire units using technical drawings and diagrams.
• Perform basic soldering, crimping, and cable preparation.
• Carry out quality checks and testing.
• Use hand and power tools safely.
• Complete production paperwork accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.

Qualifications

• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Basic electrical wiring knowledge.
• Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Good attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Reliable team player with a strong work ethic.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and meeting production targets.
