Job Overview

A family run company which has been manufacturing and repairing truck mounted concrete mixer units for over 35 years and have built a reputation for Quality and Service.

Although, this is our core business we have wide and diverse experience in all steel fabrication and are often approached by companies to engineer and perfect bespoke pieces.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Key Tasks

• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine the layout and assembly of parts.
• Measure, cut, and shape metal components to precise measurements.
• Weld components using various welding techniques.
• Inspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Perform basic math calculations to determine dimensions and quantities of materials needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Employer Expectations Skills/Knowledge/Experience

• Must have relevant previous welding experience
• Must be able to read drawings
• Self-starters, who are highly motivated, reliable, with a good work ethic
