CNC Operator – Full-Time
Salary: £25,000 – £40,000 per year, depending on experience

Role
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable client for a skilled CNC Operator to join a growing manufacturing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for precision engineering and a desire to contribute to high‑quality production in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC router machinery to produce accurate parts and components.
- Interpret engineering drawings and CAD models for correct machine setup.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct quality checks using measuring tools and gauges.
- Assemble components in line with health and safety standards.
- Handle and move materials safely within a workshop or warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to streamline production processes and reduce waste.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in CNC operation.
- Strong mathematical skills for precise measurement and calculation.
- Hands‑on experience with materials such as Aluminium, ACM, Acrylics, Foamex, and MDF.
- Working knowledge of CAD software – VCarve and/or Adobe Illustrator preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Previous experience in assembly work is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing top‑quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Background in signage is beneficial but not essential.
