Role Summary
We’re looking for an experienced BMS Service Engineer to join our growing team. This field‑based role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse customer portfolio while supporting critical building control systems and developing your career with a global leader in smart building technology.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on BMS and control systems
- Diagnose faults and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Configure and commission controllers and network‑level devices
- Modify software and maintain accurate system documentation
- Produce service reports and recommendations
- Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor
- Support upgrade and lifecycle projects
- Promote OpenBlue and cloud‑connected building technologies
- Maintain the highest standards of health, safety and compliance
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within BMS, Building Controls or Automation
- Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
- Experience in a customer‑facing service environment
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently and participate in an out‑of‑hours callout rota
- HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (desirable)
- Experience with Johnson Controls Metasys systems (advantageous)
