Production MIG Welder
Location: Eye, Suffolk – Own transport recommended due to rural location
4-Day Week | Monday-Thursday | 38 hours | 7:00am-5:00pmPay from £15.50 – £16.50 per hour, DOEOvertime Rate at Time and a Third
The role:
We are recruiting a Production MIG Welder to join a busy manufacturing team producing welded components for medical equipment. This is a production-focused position, ideal for someone experienced in MIG welding with jigs/fixtures and confident reading CAD drawings to work to consistent quality standards.
Key responsibilities:
MIG weld components using jigs/fixtures to required tolerances and standardsRead and follow CAD drawings and work instructionsCarry out basic visual inspection of welds, reporting defects and supporting rework as neededMaintain a safe, clean and organised workstationWork to production targets while maintaining quality
Essential requirements:
Minimum 1 year’s MIG welding experience in a production environmentExperience production welding using jigs/fixturesAbility to read CAD drawingsReliable, detail-focused and able to work to deadlines/targetsTIG welding experience – beneficial
