Location: Across London and surrounding areas

Salary: Competitive / Negotiable (depending on experience)

Role: We are hiring on behalf of our clients, who include leading residential builders, commercial fit-out contractors, and structural construction firms. Because specific duties can vary heavily depending on the project stage, we are looking for skilled Carpenters who can adapt to different site requirements, from structural timber framing to high-end internal finishes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of carpentry tasks, which may include 1st fix structural work (roofing, joists, stud walls) or 2nd fix finishing work (doors, skirtings, architrave, flooring).
• Install timber frameworks, structures, fixtures, and architectural ironmongery to precise specifications.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and technical plans to ensure accurate cutting, shaping, and assembly of materials.
• Safely operate specialist woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace and strictly adhere to all site health and safety guidelines, RAMS, and protective equipment regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Carpenter on commercial, residential, or fit-out sites.
• CSCS Card (Blue Skilled Worker card preferred).
• Health & Safety: A full and thorough understanding of on-site health and safety regulations, including safe tool handling, dust management, risk awareness, and proper use of PPE.

Qualifications (Desirable)

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry and Joinery is highly preferred.

Tools & PPE

• Possession of your own comprehensive 110v or cordless hand/power tools and full standard site PPE.
