Sprinkler Fitter

full-time / Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 4:30pm / In person / Salary DOE

We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Engineer to join our team. As a Fire Sprinkler Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and commissioning fire sprinkler systems in residential/domestic buildings.

Duties

• Install fire sprinkler systems
• Conduct inspections and tests on fire sprinkler systems to ensure proper functioning during installation phase
• Keep accurate records of time sheets
• Keep accurate records of materials used and taken from office

Skills

• Strong knowledge of BS 9251: 2021 & BS 9251: 2014 and regulations related to fire sprinkler systems
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for installation and repairs
• Ability to read and interpret system design plans, schematics, and CAD drawings, translating them into practical use on site
• Mechanical knowledge to understand the operation of fire sprinkler systems
• Familiarity with electrical components of fire sprinkler systems

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Relevant certifications in fire sprinkler system installation and maintenance preferred
• Prior experience as a Fire Sprinkler Technician or in a related field is a plus
