Overview

This apprenticeship is a Level 3 Engineering and Manufacturing Support Technician Standard, led by Farnborough College of Technology and includes day release.

Responsibilities

• Support all production processes across engineering, manufacturing and quality teams.
• Assist with technical support, production queries and the identification and implementation of process improvements.
• Help develop and maintain standard operating procedures.
• Work toward the Level 3 apprenticeship while gaining on‑the‑job experience and knowledge in electrical and electronic engineering.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCSE Grade C/4 in English and Maths.
• Genuine interest in an engineering career with STI.
• Right to work in the UK – no sponsorship available.
• Ability to achieve UK security clearance required.
