Real Estate Private Equity – Analyst (German)

Overview

Peterborough Capital invests its own discretionary fund with a flexible mandate to deploy across asset classes, European geographies and capital structures. The small team is led by two founding partners with significant experience from leading institutions. In the past year, PBC has invested in projects with over €150m of volume across different use types (Hospitality, Residential, Logistics and Retail) and structures (equity JVs, pref. equity, bridge loans).

Qualifications

• Fluent in German
• Visa / right to work in the U.K.
• Top-tier academic background (degree in Economics, Finance or Real Estate preferred)
• Minimum 6 months of relevant full-time work experience in real estate investing, acquisitions, lending, or investment banking (off-cycles internship experience considered). More senior/experienced candidates also considered.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; comfortable with financial modelling
• Experience and skill in leveraging AI tools (Claude etc.) to accelerate research, modelling, and document drafting
• Ownership mindset, proactive and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new investments (financial modelling, business plans, IC materials)
• Support sourcing and pipeline development
• Coordinate due diligence and manage external advisors
• Assist with financing processes and transaction execution
• Support portfolio monitoring and investor reporting
• Build out in-house AI tools and workstream automation
