Therapy Team Lead – Intermediate Care
Band 7 – Permanent position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic HCPC registered Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to join our Integrated Therapy Team.
The post holder will be responsible for the leadership and management of the Therapy Service within the in-patient bed based intermediate care service. They will lead and operationally manage a multidisciplinary team (MDT) of therapists, technical instructors and Health Care Therapy Assistants. He/she will be responsible for the delivery of patient rehabilitation and clinical care whilst ensuring clinical governance procedures and patient safety measures are in place. They will also manage a clinical caseload.
Responsibilities
Lead and operationally manage the multidisciplinary therapy team.
Ensure delivery of patient rehabilitation and clinical care with adherence to clinical governance and patient safety procedures.
Manage a clinical caseload and provide direction and support to team members.
Qualifications
HCPC registered Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities, strong base of clinical skills, good organisational, project management and problem‑solving skills.
Experience of managing staff is advantageous.
