Trainee Accountant — Public Sector, CIPFA Path

WMCA is seeking a Trainee Accountant within the Major Programmes team. The role offers funded CIPFA Level 7 qualification and potential CCAB status upon completion, with responsibilities spanning month-end, cash-flow forecasting, and grant claim management.

Ideal candidates will hold Level 4 AAT or degree with 2:1, plus GCSEs and A-Levels including Maths and English. You’ll engage with Local Authorities, gain broad exposure, and be based at our Birmingham office with regular site presence.
