Site Service Officer -Woodfield School

Job Role

Under the day‑to‑day supervision and direction of the Site Manager, carry out duties at Woodfield School, including janitorial, maintenance and monitoring duties. Ensure the site is safe, well‑maintained, attractive and provides a suitable environment for educational and community activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of the school premises.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks and report any issues to the Site Manager.
• Monitor the site to ensure it remains safe and welcoming for students and staff.
• Provide temporary support at other Woodfield School sites when required.

Conditions and Requirements

• Initial posting will be based at the Stoneleigh Road or Hawthorn Lane site, pending move to the new location.
• Closing Date: 19/07/2026.
• Must undergo an enhanced criminal record check via DBS, along with all relevant safeguarding and pre‑employment clearances.
• Two satisfactory references are required.
• Additional pre‑employment checks, as per Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) recommendations from 1Sept22, may be conducted.
