Overview

As an Anti‑Social Behaviour (ASB) Caseworker you will take ownership of casework from start to finish, ensuring our ASB Customer Commitments are understood and delivered. You will provide customers with an efficient journey, deliver resolutions, prepare and present cases at court, and manage challenging conversations with those experiencing hate crime, domestic abuse, trauma, and complex financial issues.

Responsibilities

  • Own casework from inception to completion, ensuring timely and compliant delivery.
  • Deliver a customer journey that resolves issues efficiently and supports next steps.
  • Use sophisticated influencing and negotiation skills to prepare and present cases at court to an excellent standard.
  • Handle changing customer needs with compassion, managing difficult conversations effectively.
  • Collaborate with police, local authorities, mental health services, and external mediation and legal partners to secure outcomes.
  • Prepare and present legal cases in civil or criminal courts when required.
  • Travel to court hearings and conduct visits to customers and communities as needed.
  • Participate in duty processes to triage cases and support national team operations.
  • Use data and behavioural insights to propose service innovations and aid organizational change.
  • Build customer confidence in digital channels and adopt new digital tools for excellent service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience managing anti‑social behaviour cases.
  • Experience developing and working in partnership with external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation around housing, anti‑social behaviour, and safeguarding.
  • Experience using a harm‑based approach to ASB triage.
  • Experience safeguarding and managing cases involving complex needs.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate outcomes.
  • Skills in adopting new digital solutions, driving innovation, and delivering change.
  • Experience partnership working in multi‑agency relationships.
  • Experience preparing complex case files for court and presenting cases in civil or criminal courts.
  • Ability to problem‑solve and find innovative customer solutions.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage a complex caseload.
  • Experience with mediation or conflict resolution services.
