Responsibilities
- Support the day‑to‑day management of South London nature reserves
- Lead practical conservation tasks and supervise volunteers, trainees, contractors, and corporate groups
- Deliver habitat restoration projects, monitor progress, and help manage project budgets
- Carry out habitat, species and visitor surveys to support conservation and nature recovery goals
- Build positive relationships with volunteers, local communities, partners and stakeholders and promote London Wildlife Trust’s work
Qualifications
- Full valid UK manual driving licence (essential)
- Understanding of woodland and meadow management practices and techniques
- Some experience of delivering practical conservation work on nature reserves, accompanied by a good range of practical land management skills (from a paid or voluntary role)

- Tenure: Fixed‑term contract ending 31March2028, with possibility of extension/permanent contract

Hours
Typical working hours are 9:30am to 5:30pm. Flexible working requests are available from day one.
