Job Description:
The Midlands Graduate School ESRC Doctoral Studentship invites applications for a PhD project starting in October 2026, in collaboration with NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care Board (ICB). The goal is to identify difficult medical terms and how they affect reading of healthcare materials to reduce health inequalities.
You will design experiments, employ eye-tracking, and analyse data to feed into a tool that personalises written healthcare communication.
