Sports Coach (Junior School)

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our thriving Junior School PE department. The purpose of the role is to coach pupils within PE lessons, games and extra‑curricular sports clubs and to support home and away sporting fixtures.

Responsibilities

Coach pupils within PE lessons, games and extra‑curricular sports clubs, and support home and away sporting fixtures during term time from 8:30am to 5:30pm for 35 hours per week (hours may vary with fixtures).

Qualifications

• Passionate about engaging junior pupils in a range of sporting experiences.
• Experience coaching netball, hockey or athletics.
• Qualified coach in Netball, Hockey or Athletics, or a sports‑related degree.
• Patient, with the ability to inspire confidence and respect.
• Ability to build excellent working relationships with pupils and colleagues.
• Engaged with the school’s ethos, thinking creatively and reflectively to meet the needs of the department.
