Social Worker Level 2 (Children in Care team)

Location: North Hykeham, Lincoln | Salary: £39,152 – £42,839 (with 7% attraction and retention payment) | Closing date: 2nd August | Interviews: 13th August

Overview

We are looking for experienced Social Workers to join our Children in Care Team in North Hykeham. Passionate about advocating for children and families, you will be part of a team that prides itself on “Putting Children First” and a rating of Outstanding from Ofsted.

This team follows the Signs of Safety practice model and a commitment to restorative practice, supporting families to develop their own solutions and placing the voice of the child at the heart of every plan.

Responsibilities

As a Level 2 Social Worker you will:

  • Use your skills, knowledge and experience to manage a range of cases;
  • Assess social care needs, support planning, and review Care Plans and packages of care;
  • Lead complex cases from start to finish, ensuring continuity of support for children and families;
  • Work directly with children, young people, families and other stakeholders to build a brighter future for Lincolnshire;
  • Mentor less experienced staff and lead students on placement.

Eligibility & Additional Information

We require you hold the required professional registration and be able to demonstrate experience in working with children and families. You will also need to sign a criminal record check. Fluency duty in English is essential.
