Keter, established over 77 years ago, is a global leader and manufacturer of resin based durable consumer lifestyle products including patio and garden furniture and indoor and outdoor storage solutions, in a rapidly expanding market sector.
They produce well-known brands such as Curver, Stewart and Keter from manufacturing sites globally, and their well invested site in Banbury, Oxfordshire, which operates 24/7, houses injection and rotational moulding technology and sophisticated robotics, and employs about 180 people.
We are looking for a highly motivated Quality Technician to investigate and resolve challenging quality problems. Key responsibilities include:
- Reading and interpreting complex blueprints and specifications, including customer and vendor specifications.
- Developing and assessing alternative methods to achieve uniform quality, including identifying process variables.
- Monitoring and verifying products throughout the manufacturing process.
- Utilising relevant lean/continuous improvement problem‑solving tools – root cause, 5 Why, 8D, etc.
Ideally a degree‑qualified candidate, or equivalent, with proven experience in a quality role within a complex, high‑volume manufacturing environment. Candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of quality control principles and practices, strong communication skills, a problem‑solving approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team.
