1st / 2nd Line Software Support / Service Desk

Location: East Midlands

Industry: IT

Salary & Benefits: £20,000 – £28,000 per annum, 25 days holiday, pension, cross training, health and flexi benefits.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line helpdesk support, prioritising calls on a busy helpdesk.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues for enterprise level software such as Oracle, Dynamics, SAP, Navision, Visual Studio, SQL Server, and MS Windows.
  • Attempt to resolve problems before escalating to the software development team.
  • Work a standard 9‑5 schedule with no weekend duties.

Qualifications

  • Experienced 1st/2nd line Helpdesk / Application Support / Software Support Analyst.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with enterprise level software (Oracle, Dynamics, SAP, Navision) and with Visual Studio, SQL Server or MS Windows.
  • ITIL qualification highly regarded.
  • Ability to prioritise calls and work under pressure.
