Are you available immediately for 8 weeks work – immediate start – Warehouse Supervisor with an in-date Counterbalance FL licence

Location: New Hythe, ME20Rate: £16.50 ph depending on experienceHours: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)

Days, either 8am or 9am start time

Job Type: Full-time hours, temporary, PAYE, paid weekly in arrears

Senior Warehouse Operative/Supervisor duties will include:

Overview

Senior Warehouse Operative/Supervisor responsible for ensuring goods are received, stored, picked, and dispatched accurately and safely to keep warehouse operations running smoothly daily.

Responsibilities

• Unload, check and receive goods into the warehouse
• Goods in/out
• Pick and pack items for production team
• Operate forklifts (mainly Counterbalance) safely and efficiently – in date licence required
• Carry out stock checks and support inventory audits
• Maintain accurate stock records using handheld scanners and PCs
• Keep work areas clean, tidy and compliant with safety and hygiene standards
• Work as part of a close-knit logistics team to meet customer deadlines
• Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Team Leader
• Good IT and stock control skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• Team player with great communication and a can-do attitude

Qualifications

• In-date Counterbalance forklift licence
• Experience in coordinating reception, storage, picking and dispatch operations
• Proven ability to manage stock control systems and handwriting/PC-based records
