Our Commercial teams are central to delivering great value and choice for our customers while driving profitable growth for Co‑op. As a Commercial Assistant you’ll help keep systems accurate, support trading decisions, and ensure smooth communication with internal and external partners. Your work will directly impact product availability, pricing accuracy and promotional success across our stores.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate product, price and supplier data in internal systems
- Support teams with reports, documents and meeting preparation
- Load promotions and commercial terms into systems
- Resolve pricing and payment queries quickly and efficiently
- Track timelines, flag risks and embed new processes
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders to keep everyone aligned
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards, including GSCOP
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
- Confidence working with data and spotting patterns
- Excellent organisation and time‑management skills
- Great communication skills and the ability to influence others
- Experience using systems and tools to manage commercial processes
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, retail‑focused environment
