Grounds Maintenance Operative

Manchester | £12.71 per hour (annualised equivalent: approximately £26,500) | Permanent | Full time | 40 hours per week

Glendale is looking for a motivated, hardworking individual to join our corporate grounds maintenance team. The role involves working outdoors across various sites in the Manchester region and offers a clear career progression within our company.

Responsibilities

• Mowing large grassed areas, strimming, blowing, and line marking
• Renewal, hedge trimming, and general maintenance of shrub beds
• Sports marking, hedge cutting, and hard surface spraying operations

Qualifications

• Full, clean driving licence with experience of driving light commercial vehicles and towing trailers desirable
• Reliable, conscientious and a can‑do attitude with willingness to learn and work independently
• Previous experience of grounds maintenance work, horticultural tasks and use of handheld machinery desirable; full training will be provided
