Job Overview

Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) seeks a Facilities Assistant at Hinckley & Bosworth Community Hospital. The role requires an average of 16.625 hours per week, 2:15 pm–7 pm, on a 2‑week rota with alternate weekends. Responsibilities include providing patient‑focused facilities services (FM) such as portering, cleaning, and catering.

Main Duties

  • Prepare and regenerate patient meals at ward level daily.
  • Provide domestic cleaning service, washing linen, and maintain NHS cleanliness standards in both patient and non‑patient areas.
  • Provide portering services, including transport of linen cages, waste bins, and patient movements (reception to department or department to department).
  • Rotate between responsibilities as required.
