Support Worker – Bridgend

Salary

£13.45 – £13.75 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications

Full time – 39 hours per week

Rolling two‑week rota, including wake and sleep nights

Sleep nights – £57 flat rate

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Support Worker, you’ll make a genuine impact every day by:

  • Supporting adults with their daily needs to ensure emotional, physical and social wellbeing.
  • Building strong, trusting relationships so each person feels safe, valued and understood.
  • Encouraging independence and helping people develop essential life skills.
  • Supporting activities at home, during education programmes, or out in the community.
  • Working closely with your team to tailor support to each individual’s needs.
  • Maintaining accurate records of progress, activities and any incidents.
  • Helping with day‑to‑day household tasks like cooking, cleaning and meal preparation.

What We’re Looking For

  • A caring, patient and resilient approach to supporting others.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, can‑do mindset.
  • Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and waking nights as part of a rota.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • A willingness to learn – full training is provided.

This role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an Enhanced DBS with barred list check.
