COMMUNITY PASTOR

Job Overview

We are seeking a team member to enable us to make the most of opportunities in our community, reaching those who don’t know Jesus and discipling those who do.

Our church is growing and thriving, and lots of people are joining the church. The purpose of this new role is to increase the capacity of the church and team to welcome new people, disciple new believers and grow our work reaching out into the community with God’s love.

Responsibilities

• Lead enquirers’ courses such as Alpha.
• Work with the existing team on ministries such as Open Table and Bereavement Cafe.
• Pioneer new opportunities, including leading social media engagement.
• Lead others, listen deeply to community concerns, have a heart for evangelism, grow ministries through collaboration, and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.
