We are seeking a proactive and organised Business Support Assistant to join our hospital social work team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to social workers. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment. Experience in an administrative role within health or social care is desirable.
This post is Temporary until 31st March 2027.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
The post will be to support the Hospital Social Work teams, working within a team of professional staff who are committed to quality service provision and innovation. Duties will include answering telephone calls, signposting patients, families, and professionals to appropriate services, taking accurate messages and records, and handling general enquiries. You will also be responsible for sending out letters, care plans, and assessments, as well as managing emails, filing, archiving, and a range of general administrative tasks as required by the service.

Required Qualifications
- Must hold Level Two NVQ in Business administration or equivalent. Must have previous experience of working in a busy office environment.
