Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Administrator to join our busy office based in East Kilbride. The role suits someone with a “roll your sleeves up” attitude and involves liaising daily with internal and external customers and supporting a small but busy engineering depot.
Responsibilities
- Keep engineers organised by scheduling work and dealing with relevant administration.
- Work closely with colleagues and external customers (domestic and commercial) to provide a first‑class service.
- Manage challenging internal and external relationships.
Qualifications
- Proven experience within administration and customer service – ideally within a construction, engineering or similar blue‑collar environment.
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Strong administration and IT skills – using Microsoft packages.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise work.
- Attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi‑task.
- Ability to cover some on‑call work: manning the phone between 5pm and 7pm on some weekdays and some sporadic weekends.
