Emergency Dispatch & Public Contact Operator

Dorset Police is seeking a Dispatch and Contact Officer based in Bournemouth. You will be the first point of contact for 101 and 999 callers, providing a calm, efficient response while working as part of a close-knit team.

After a 12-week training period you will continue dispatch training and may travel to Winfrith for sessions. The role includes 37 hours per week with shift work, including weekend patterns and eventual 24/7 coverage.
