Dispatch & Contact Officer — 24/7 Public Safety Role

Dorset Police is recruiting for a Dispatch and Contact Officer to support the Dorset Contact Management Centre. The role involves handling 101 and 999 calls, assessing risk, and providing prompt, reliable assistance to the public, police officers and staff.

Initial training lasts during probation with shift work, including weekend allowances, and progression to a full 24/7 shift pattern. The position is based in Dorset and requires 18+ readiness at start date.
