The Hours You’ll Work

• Monday to Friday
• 07.00am – 15.00pm, 15.00pm – 23.00pm, 23.00pm – 07.00am

• MTrec are currently recruiting for a well‑established manufacturing firm based in the North Shields area.

The Job You’ll Do

• Quality inspection, following SOPs, transferring completed units to warehouse.
• Setting up and operating a range of production machinery.
• Completed tool changes when needed to meet the production requirements.
• Checking at various stages of the process, taking samples, feeding machines/lines.
• Completing paperwork, making sure each stage of production has been met.
• Carrying out routine maintenance on machines, fixing any issues if possible or reporting them to the correct person.
• Carrying out general labouring duties within a factory environment.
• General housekeeping duties carried out, making sure own area is kept clean and tidy.
• Strict daily targets and deadlines, which are monitored by team leader.

About You

• Used to working in a fast paced production environment.
• Focused on quality and able to produce products to a high standard.
• Working either independently or within a team.
• Achieve team objectives.
• Be consistent, accurate and ensure that procedures are followed.
• Physically fit as some products are heavy.
