Overview
Are you an Assistant CAD Technician or Assistant Digital Designer seeking a new challenge? We’re offering a fantastic opportunity for a CAD Technician to join our team, specialising in major projects across the water sector. This role can be based at our Leeds office, with hybrid working arrangements that allow a mix of in‑office and home‑based work.
Responsibilities
- Preparing project drawings and BIM models, understanding and implementing local client CAD standards and BIM data requirements
- Collaborating with engineers, consultants, and technicians from multiple disciplines
- Managing personal workload plans and ensuring delivery deadlines are met
- Working within Common Data Environments
About you / Qualifications
- Prior experience working as an Assistant CAD Technician or in a similar digital delivery role—preferably in the water or energy sectors
- Experience in Revit (desirable)
- Experience developing design deliverables in collaboration with multi‑discipline design teams
- Experience working in Common Data Environments using data management systems such as BIM 360 and ProjectWise
- Familiarity with ISO 19650 and delivering information in accordance with these standards
- Expertise in 2D and 3D BIM delivery using industry‑standard tools from Autodesk and Bentley
- The ability to organise and manage workloads across multiple projects
- Willingness to mentor junior colleagues in BIM and new software developments
