Night Shift – Alternating Wednesday to Saturday 17:00 – 05:00

Rate of pay– £15.98 Per Hour

What you’ll be doing

We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Loader to join our team, based at our Manton Wood manufacturing site. As a loader you will be responsible for the Warehouse Loading Area.

• Ensure that all activities are conducted in line with Safe System of Work.
• Listening to daily briefs with management and staff
• Checking off outbound HGVs
• Keeping to an outbound schedule
• PPT checks/maintaining, reach truck duties, key control, bay control, keeping warehouse tidy, managing pallets outbound/inbound

When not loading HGVs, you will work with the product picking team and will have the following responsibilities.

• Receive and check incoming pick tickets
• Locate products using technology
• Retrieve orders according to quantity etc. ensuring accuracy
• Build pallets with orders and position them to loading docks
• Wrap orders before loading on trucks
• Keep records of completed orders
• Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions
• Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards

What we’re looking for

• Have credible experience of working in a busy warehouse/transport operation.
• Good attention to detail and demonstrable self-discipline to manage your work tasks with minimum supervision, whilst being held duty accountable.
• PPT certified preferred
• Able to read and write in English
• Diligent and punctual
• Good physical strength and stamina
