Community Medical Tutor & Learning Facilitator

Role Overview

Bank role facilitating learning, providing face‑to‑face placements, and participating in formative and summative assessment of students on the Community Learning Module. The post holder works collaboratively with Warwick Medical School in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of community‑focused modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate learning sessions and support medical students during face‑to‑face placements.
• Source patients for students to interview in their homes, and coordinate agencies providing care to patients.
• Organise community days in a community base in South Warwickshire.
• Plan, deliver, and evaluate community‑focused teaching programmes.
• Contribute to programme development and teaching with Warwick University.
• Assist in the evaluation of the programme in collaboration with the University.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience and knowledge of working in a community setting (essential).
• Ability to collaborate with academic and clinical teams.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills.
• Readiness to commit 15‑23 days per year.
• Training will be provided.
