Job Overview
Support Services Assistants deliver Domestic, Portering and Linen Services within wards and departments across our healthcare facilities and other designated properties, contributing to patient care in line with Quality Improvement Scotland recommendations.
In this role you will work across various departments, interacting with staff and patients to provide a clean and safe environment for everyone. The position provides an excellent starting point for expanding your knowledge and building a career within NHS Dumfries & Galloway.
Responsibilities
- Provide domestic, portering and linen services within wards and departments.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for staff, patients and visitors.
- Assist with the delivery of patient care by supporting hospital operations.
- Work across various departments and interact with both staff and patients.
