About the Role

You’ll work within a purpose-built day centre and in the local community, supporting adults with learning and/or physical disabilities, who may use wheelchairs, be nonverbal, or have complex support needs. Every day is unique – one day you might be helping someone bake, paint, or garden, and the next you could be supporting them on a trip to the zoo or theatre.

You’ll help people develop new skills, gain confidence, and enjoy meaningful experiences both in the centre and out in the community.

Typical duties include:

  • Supporting individuals with daily activities and personal goals
  • Providing personal care, assistance with meals, and administering medication (with training)
  • Facilitating group sessions and offering 1:1 support for people with complex needs
  • Encouraging independence and promoting wellbeing
  • Bringing your own hobbies and creativity to make every day enjoyable and engaging

You’ll also have access to fantastic facilities including sensory spaces, craft and kitchen areas, a hydrotherapy pool and an accessible gym – all designed to help the people we support thrive.

  • Reliable, positive, and eager to learn new skills
  • Open to training and development – previous experience is great but not essential!

Whether you’ve worked in healthcare before or come from a background in customer service, education, hospitality, or volunteering, your transferable skills could make you a great fit.
