SEN 1:1 Support Assistant – Chesterfield

Location: Chesterfield

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time opportunities available

Are you passionate about making a positive difference in a child’s education? We are looking for a caring, patient, and dedicated SEN 1:1 Support Assistant to provide individual support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in schools across Chesterfield.

The Role

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with additional learning needs.
  • Build positive relationships that encourage confidence, independence, and engagement.
  • Work alongside teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored learning and support plans.
  • Support pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.

We’re Looking For

  • A caring, patient, and resilient approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
  • Experience working with children or vulnerable individuals is desirable but not essential.
  • A willingness to undertake relevant training.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable.
