Volunteer Family Engagement & Events Coordinator

We are looking for volunteers to support families affected by cancer in our homes. Volunteers will help create a caring and calm environment by planning inclusive activities, assisting in fundraising, and completing administrative tasks related to events.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Develop activities that follow an inclusive programme of events, according to needs of region and service user demographic, remaining mindful of families that are observing religious holidays/customs
• In conjunction with our local fundraising team, approach local sources to donate to events, e.g. supermarkets to provide snacks for event
• Complete necessary administrative tasks associated with the event, e.g. creating and sending out posters
