Job Title
Bromley Council is seeking a Contact Centre Support Worker to support the practical delivery of contact arrangements for children and young people in line with agreed care plans and court requirements.
Location and Working Conditions
Based at Churchill Court, Bromley, this role focuses on coordinating and administering contact sessions, ensuring venues and resources are prepared and available, and maintaining a well‑presented centre environment. The post holder will assist contact supervisors, the coordinator, and manager with the smooth running of the service, and provide light administration and logistics support associated with family time and contact arrangements.
Key Focus
This is not a Family Support Worker, Supervised Contact Worker, or casework role. The role does not involve parenting support, family interventions, therapeutic work, assessments, or ongoing casework with children, parents, or wider family members, nor is it responsible for observing and recording parent‑child interactions. The primary focus is on safeguarding, coordination, administration, and practical support of contact arrangements.
Compensation and Start Date
Rate: £13.60–£17.60 per hour.Start date: 21August2026.
Qualifications
- Experience in a contact centre, children’s services administration, or a similar coordination and support role.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
