Overview
Our aim is simple: through great coffee and brilliant service, we want to make a positive difference in people’s lives. Our Assistant Managers are second in command and are vital for the smooth running of the store, providing great service and supporting their team to do the same.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager with training, coaching and managing the team to drive standards and performance.
- Make fantastic coffee, matcha and seasonal drinks, ensuring every order is special and personalized.
- Lead by example and provide great service both in store and through deliveries.
- Ensure customers leave with a personal experience through our signature 1‑2‑1 service style.
- Keep the customer and back‑of‑house areas safe, clean, organised and ready for service, including cleaning tables and maintaining high standards for toilets.
- Take pride in what they do and always strive for excellence.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Supervisor or Assistant Manager in a busy, customer‑facing environment.
- People‑focused, caring about the welfare and development of the team.
- Passion for meeting business targets.
- Passion for the Caffè Nero brand.

Salary
Starter rate for Assistant Managers is £12.91 per hour, increasing to £13.06 with service.
