Healthcare Support Worker – Tunbridge Wells Hospital
In this role you will support the nursing team with administrative duties while ensuring timely and accurate patient care, meeting deadlines and following instructions.
Key Responsibilities
- Put patient care first.
- Carry out administrative duties.
- Assist the Registered Nurses and consultants in delivering exceptional patient care both pre‑and post‑surgery.
- Get to know the patients and meet their individual needs.
- Use organisational skills to create a positive patient experience.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level3 in Health and Social Care.
- Relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.
- Good telephone manner, computer and database skills.
Work Arrangement & Pay
Ad‑hoc, part‑time. £13.52 per hour. Work on the bank – schedule as needed to match business demand and your availability.

Established in 1968, the purpose‑built hospital includes 40 en‑suite bedrooms, busy outpatients and pre‑assessment departments, diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and X‑ray), pathology, paediatric unit, surgical recovery ward, cancer care unit, three state‑of‑the‑art operating theatres and physiotherapy services.
