Year 2 1:1 Learning Support Assistant – Primary School (B31 Area)
Start: September 2024 (or ASAP). Aspire People is seeking a compassionate, reliable and dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support a Year 2 pupil in a friendly and inclusive primary school in the B31 area. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children with additional needs reach their full potential.
The Role
- Provide personalised support to a Year 2 pupil with specific learning or behavioural needs
- Assist with classroom activities, emotional regulation and daily routines
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies
- Encourage independence, confidence and positive learning behaviours
- Help create a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment
- Experience supporting children with SEND is highly desirable, and a relevant qualification is essential
