Healthcare Assistant – Theatre

Position: Healthcare Assistant – Theatre – The Woking Hospital, Nuffield Health (Permanent, Full time)

Pay: Up to £25,545 depending on experience (37.5 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Create a great experience for patients undergoing major and minor surgeries.
• Provide compassionate, person‑centred care and support patients as individuals.
• Assist with moving patients, theatre preparation, family reassurance, and administration tasks.
• Play a key role in a fast‑paced environment supporting the theatre team.
• Work flexibly to support the team.

Qualifications & Experience

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.
• Excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to duties and hours.

The hospital provides 27 beds, two theatres (laminar flow), a minor operating theatre, pre‑assessment, physiotherapy clinic, onsite pharmacy, mammography, X‑ray and ultrasound services, and nine outpatient consulting rooms.
