Senior Store Assistant (Keyholder) – Bromsgrove
30 hours per week. We are looking for local candidates who can easily commute to our store. Our stores are open from 7 AM to 8 PM, so you must be able to manage early starts and late finishes.
What you’ll do
You’ll be the friendly face of Toolstation, helping customers find what they need. In addition, you’ll be hands‑on with deliveries, warehouse tasks, and stocking shelves. The role can be hot in summer and chilly in winter, but it’s about doing a good job and providing great customer service.
This position supports colleagues to deliver a great customer experience. While retail experience is not essential, you should have some experience as a key holder or supervising team members.
- Handle deliveries, unpack stock, keep the store clean, and prepare orders.
- Provide outstanding service by chatting with customers and staying efficient during busy times.
- Ask the right questions to help customers find everything they need for their projects.
- Be proactive in selling the benefits of Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts, and signing customers up.
- Keyholder responsibilities: open and close the store, assign daily tasks to the team, and provide short‑term supervisory cover when needed.
