Year 5/6 Teacher

About the role:

justteachers are supporting a primary school on the outskirts of South Rugby to recruit a Year 5/6 Mixed Class Teacher. This is a full-time role with a September 2026 start, fixed term until the end of the academic year. The school has a strong community feel, supportive leadership and small class sizes, with a focus on high expectations and pupil wellbeing. The role would suit an experienced upper KS2 teacher confident teaching mixed-age classes and preparing pupils for transition to secondary school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging upper KS2 lessons across mixed-age classes
• Prepare Year 6 pupils for SATs and transition
• Differentiate effectively for mixed abilities
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teaching Status or equivalent
• Proven experience in Primary Education
• A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
