About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant at Witherslack Group, you will support children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. You will work closely with teachers and therapists to help them learn, develop their abilities and raise their self-esteem, and will thrive on the small victories that make a big difference.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers during classroom lessons.
- Assist students with daily tasks and learning activities.
- Provide one‑to‑one support to students with special educational needs.
- Work collaboratively with therapists and support staff.
- Help students develop confidence, resilience and communication skills.
Qualifications & Experience
- Positive, ‘can‑do’ attitude and willingness to help others.
- Experience working in a school environment preferred; training will be provided if needed.
- Passion for supporting children’s learning and well‑being.
- Resilience, dedication and a growth mindset.
