Job Overview

Simply Bliss is a busy beauty salon located in the heart of Macclesfield on Mill Street. With 21 years in business, we pride ourselves on training and grooming young beauticians to deliver a comprehensive range of treatments, from gel manicures and pedicures to semi‑permanent makeup, micro‑needling, facials, and massages.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customers for nail treatments.
• Perform reception duties, meeting and greeting customers.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming salon environment.
• Provide refreshments to customers.
• Learn and eventually deliver a variety of treatments, including:
• Hair Removal
• Tanning
• Gel Nails
• Hands and Feet (Manicure / Pedicure)
• Massages
• Facials
• Skin Treatments / Skin Peels

Training Outcome

Successful completion of the apprenticeship may lead to a full‑time position.

• GCSE English – 4/C+ (or equivalent)

Course Information

Beauty Therapist (Level 2), Route: Hair and Beauty, Apprenticeship Level: Intermediate.

Working Arrangements

• Monday – In college (5 hours)
• Tuesday – Day off
• Wednesday – 11:00am to 8:00pm (9 hours)
• Thursday – 5:00pm to 8:00pm (3 hours)
• Friday – 9:30am to 5:00pm (7.5 hours)
• Saturday – 9:00am to 3:00pm (5.5 hours)

Expected Duration and Training Provider

1 year 3 months, provided by Macclesfield College.
