Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and classroom activities
- Provide individual and small-group support to help pupils achieve their learning goals
- Assist pupils with additional educational needs and tailored support strategies
- Encourage children’s confidence, independence, and participation in learning
- Support classroom management and promote positive behaviour
- Help prepare teaching resources and maintain an organised learning environment
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and nurturing school environment
About You
- Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
- Caring, patient, and approachable with a positive attitude
- Able to motivate and encourage pupils of different abilities
- A strong communicator who works well as part of a team
- Reliable, adaptable, and committed to providing high-quality support
- Previous experience in a school, childcare, or educational support role is desirable but not essential
