Teaching Assistant – Portsmouth

Prospero Teaching are excited to be recruiting enthusiastic and motivated TAs who are eager to gain hands‑on classroom experience. These are long‑term, short‑term and day‑to‑day placements with immediate starts available, offering an excellent pathway into education.

We are recruiting Teaching Assistants to work across Primary, Nursery and SEN schools in the Southampton area, including:

• Central Portsmouth
• Havant
• Gosport
• Chichester

Your Role Will Include

• Working 5 days per week, term‑time only
• Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs
• Working across EYFS, Key Stage 1 & 2

About the Successful Graduate / Teaching Assistant

• No experience required; full training provided
• Holds a recent degree (ideally 2:2 or above)
• Passionate about education with a proactive, can‑do attitude
• A positive role model for young people
• Innovative, engaging and adaptable in their approach to learning
