Painter and Decorator

Salary £30,656.92 per annum
Contract Permanent, full time, 39 hours per week
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Facilities Maintenance Team at HMP Exeter, a Category B Adult Male local prison. The role involves working Monday to Friday as part of a supportive and driven family to create a safe and nurturing environment and to manage painting and decorating tasks alongside experienced colleagues.
Qualifications
- A City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting and Decorating or equivalent (or significant experience/time served in a similar role)
- Experience working in a maintenance team
- An honest and reliable character, who can approach their work with a sense of purpose and pace
- Good Health & Safety knowledge
- Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
