Location
Newton Abbot, Devon. Easily commutable from Exeter, Plymouth, Torquay, Paignton, Totnes, South Brent, Kingsbridge and Salcombe.
Salary
£15.34-£24.53 per hour. Other PAYE models are available. Minimum 8 hours guaranteed per shift. Weekly pay.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a Class 1 C+E vehicle safely and professionally
- Deliver and collect caged goods across the South West and South Wales
- Complete delivery paperwork and transport documentation accurately
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Follow all transport legislation, health and safety procedures, and company policies
- Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle
- Provide excellent customer service when representing our clients
- Workday shifts with typical start times from 05:00
- Available shifts throughout the week, Monday to Sunday
Qualifications
Essential
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 C+E licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 penalty points
- No DR, DD or IN endorsements
- Reliable, professional and punctual approach
Desirable
- Experience delivering caged goods
- Good geographical knowledge of the South West and South Wales
- Flexible approach to available shifts
- Newly qualified Class 1 drivers are welcome to apply
